Space exploration through books
"Science à la coque" is a series of mini-lectures held in partnership with the Paris-Saclay Agglomeration Community. Nicolas Beck will explain his work as a scientific mediator and an author.
Auditorium, bâtiment Lumen, 8 avenue des Sciences à Gif-sur-YvetteThrough Nicolas Beck's experience, as an author and scientific mediator, we will see how books can play a real part in mediation. How can books raise new actors and talk to new publics ? How can it become a support in scientific mediation actions ?
Beside writing, Nicolas Beck often builds mediation activities linked to his own books. Spatial exploration will be an example to see how sciences can be talked about to a wide public by book actors such as librairies or book shops.
